Building Ratings

Our BEEC ratings at 175 Liverpool Street include a 5-star NABERS Energy rating and a 4-star NABERS Water rating. In addition to the base building ratings, we are proud to support our tenants in achieving their own tenancy ratings. For instance, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has achieved a 5-star NABERS Energy tenancy rating.

Energy Management

Office tenants control around 50% of the energy use in their buildings. This presents both a challenge and an opportunity. While energy costs can be significant, there are ample opportunities to make simple changes that achieve great savings.

The NABERS Energy Management Guide for Tenants has been designed to give tenants control of their own energy use. It enables tenants to manage their energy use efficiently and explains how energy savings can be made by tenants in office buildings.

The Guide complements the Energy Efficient Lighting Technology Report, designed to help businesses in choosing the right lighting upgrades by outlining the technical specifications and business cases for various lighting options.

Self Rating of Your Office

You can conduct a self-rating of your office using the NABERS Rating Calculator. Follow the prompts to complete the calculation. You will be asked to submit the total area of your office premises and include the number of computers normally switched on, among other office-specific details. All premises details should be based on the same 12 months, referred to as the 'rating period', to conduct a self-rating.
